I started practicing Nails in 2020 purchasing cheap products. I did my first set and I hated it because the products I was using weren’t the proper ones. After 2 days of practice I stopped completely. A year later I got married, I was working as a Dental Assistant, I hated my job, the environment but more than anything having a boss who didn’t care for his employees. I quit my job and use my last check as a Dental assistant to purchase quality products to practice every single day. I practiced about 8 hours per day and when I wasn’t practicing I was watching videos on how to become a better nail tech, I remember how every time my husband would ask me what I was watching I would have the same response. “Nail videos,” I would say.

Everyone including my parents would tell me to get a college degree and a real job that would give me a steady income but I am stubborn person who likes to prove people wrong. I sure did when I continued my journey in the Nail industry. I started to get clients and they would recommend me to their friends and family. This was my motivation to keep going. I enrolled myself into Nails School to get my license so that my clients would feel safe and comfortable when they would get their nails done with me. I also went with the goal to be able to have my own nails salon. Now, after 3 years I am a Licensed Nail technician and educator

Through out my journey I learned that people will not believe in you until you show results. Because of this, it is my mission to help anyone who is interested in becoming a nail technician to do exactly that!
